• Red Hat Official doc[1] describes that

  "The Kinesis component supports receiving messages from Amazon Kinesis service."
  

• It should be replaced with following:

  "The Kinesis component supports receiving messages from and sending messages to Amazon Kinesis service."
  

• Kinesis component is supported as consumer and producer both. This is also described in community doc[2]
