In the Orchestrator multi-step input form:

The user should not be allowed to pass to the next step if an active widget is performing fetch action. The user needs to wait till finished.

Without that, the fetch-in-progress does not finish (for example SchemaUpdater), the fields are not provided with their defaults and so subsequent pages do not have the data from previous steps.
