The scope is to improve UX for Backstage's Notifications plugin based on the received feedback.

Not all of the tasks will be implemented, some of them are meant for evaluation only.

We will contemplate benefits for the user, feasibility and effort, especially when the plugin is maintained by the upstream Backstage core team. We must avoid forking or downstream patching just for the purpose of customization due to long-term maintenance costs.

Side note: the upstream plugin will become core part of the RHDH, starting with its 1.4 release.
