It would be useful to have a link between a notification and the workflow instance that created the notification.

If a user has many notifications from different instances of the same type of workflow (for instance, MTA), it's currently hard to track which specific instance created a notification. If one notification reports an error, it makes sense that a user would want to go back to the workflow instance page to see what the details are.

If the user could click in the notification on a link back to the original workflow instance, and/or have the workflow instance ID visible, it would help tracking.

It was also be useful if this went both ways - the workflow instance would have a list of notifications that were generated by the workflow that you could click and go to the notification. 

This would require changes to the notifications code.
