Given an OCP Virt environment with a VM with secondary network interfaces,

When the engineer investigates how to configure these VM interfaces to use OVS-DPDK with Vhost-user bindings and reviews upstream projects and existing plugins,

Then, the engineer should provide a summary of the root causes of any limitations, evaluate the feasibility of supporting OVS-DPDK for secondary interfaces and propose possible solutions or next steps documented in a comment on this Jira ticket.

The purpose of this investigation spike is to explore the feasibility and requirements for supporting  OVS-DPDK on OCP Virt for VMs with secondary network interfaces. The goal is to set up a PoC that enables OVS-DPDK integration using Vhost-user bindings. Therefore, this investigation spike will be used to review the upstream efforts listed in FDP-903 and identify any challenges for implementing OVS-DPDK with Vhost-user bindings in OCP Virt.

      For the background, see: FDP-903
