      This epic tracks all the effort needed to deliver the solution related to the feature request described below.
      The internal version string doesn't contain the dash e.g. 24.03.1 vs 24.03.1-32. The version after dash is important an only way to find it out right now is to use rpm -q or something similar.

      There is ongoing work in OvS that allows to have the dash suffix as part of the internal version in compiled binaries: https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/project/openvswitch/patch/48e226d33ecf1a257a1a7d1121b974f589bb50a2.1713181682.git.tredaelli@redhat.com/

      We should have something very similar in OVN once it is sorted in OvS.
