      Since [1] we have some ovn related upgrade test i.e. we test that upgrading OVN components works, upgrading first ovn-controller.

      However the test is quite limited.

      We should be able to add many tests by using the same idea:

      • compile ovn-controller for current patch.
      • checkout current LTS.
      • run all system tests from current LTS using ovn-northd from LTS and ovn-controller from current patch.
      • We might need to ignore errors related to schemas updates

      Note that doing the same for unit tests (ovn.at) would be much more complex as in unit tests we usually check the details of some flows, which might change with latest ovn-controller. So this Jira concentrates on system tests.
