      RHEL-83454 describes an intermittent packet drops (port.rx_dropped) observed at NIC level during the operation of a DPDK-based application in an OpenShift/SR-IOV environment. The root cause is currently unknown, therefore this ticket will track the investigation needed to identify why packets are dropped and provide clear next steps for resolution.
