This epic tracks all the effort needed to deliver the solution related to the bug described below.
Problem Description: Clearly explain the issue.
Added mlx dpdk port to ovs user bridge and checked its "duplex" mode which shows "half".

The same port's duplex mode is "full" when i checked with ethtool.

Impact Assessment: Describe the severity and impact (e.g., network down, availability of a workaround, etc.).
- Severity would be low as functionally works and it does not impact the work. Also, i doubt if customer would be doing it (we have 100 gbps port in uplink switch and splited to 25 gbps so we can connect more machines to switch with speed negotiated to 25 bps).
Software Versions: Specify the exact versions in use (e.g.,openvswitch3.1-3.1.0-147.el8fdp).
[root@rhos-nfv-04 ~]# ovs-vswitchd --version
ovs-vswitchd (Open vSwitch) 3.3.4-62.el9fdp
DPDK 23.11.2
Issue Type: Indicate whether this is a new issue or a regression (if a regression, state the last known working version).
- I never tried to observe this before. so cant say if it is regression or new issue
Reproducibility: Confirm if the issue can be reproduced consistently. If not, describe how often it occurs.
- Every time reproducible
Reproduction Steps: Provide detailed steps or scripts to replicate the issue.
- Have "backplane" mlx port and add to ovs dpdk user bridge and check duplex mode
Expected Behavior: Describe what should happen under normal circumstances.
- "duplex" mode is "half"
Troubleshooting Actions: Outline the steps taken to diagnose or resolve the issue so far.
