There is conversion to/from Tracing Events' TypedValue to a similar but not identical structure, TypedVariable in trusty-service and stored as such in trusty-storage. The TypedVariable are again converted to TypedValue on their way to explainability-service. Unfortunately the structure of TypedVariable is exposed to the UI so that'll need refactoring too.
