      Epic Goal

      • Enable Eng and Support to triage etcd issues more precisely and quickly
      • Build tooling to benchmark disks (pre-install + day2, see
        https://github.com/peterducai/openshift-etcd-suite)
      • Document pre-install and day2 hardware sizing and benchmarks
      • Document normal behavior of etcd (eg during and after upgrades)

      Why is this important?

      • Support/helpdesk requests and escalations take significant time off the team
      • Avoid false-positive escalations to etcd team
      • Avoid insufficient data back-and-forth between Eng, Support and Cu
      • etcd team should be faster at triaging incoming bugs / must-gathers
      • Deflect support cases as much as possible
