Epic Goal
- Enable Eng and Support to triage etcd issues more precisely and quickly
- Build tooling to benchmark disks (pre-install + day2, see
https://github.com/peterducai/openshift-etcd-suite) - Document pre-install and day2 hardware sizing and benchmarks
- Document normal behavior of etcd (eg during and after upgrades)
Why is this important?
- Support/helpdesk requests and escalations take significant time off the team
- Avoid false-positive escalations to etcd team
- Avoid insufficient data back-and-forth between Eng, Support and Cu
- etcd team should be faster at triaging incoming bugs / must-gathers
- Deflect support cases as much as possible
