In the previous task https://issues.redhat.com/browse/ESO-289, a number of issues reported by the default enabled linters were fixed and this tracker is for resolving the issues suggested by the then disabled linters

Acceptance Criteria:

• All reported issues are resolved
• The `lint` target is added to the `verify` target list.
