The Flink runtime and jobs emit metrics that allow monitoring their health and performance. These metrics can be exported in various ways.

For the SQL Runner we should:

• Ensure that we have configured the prometheus metrics reporter in our image.
• Provide documentation on how to scrape metrics.
• Provide example dashboards for users to monitor their SQL Flink Jobs.

We currently have prometheus setup instructions in the flink-sql-examples repository. We should move these to the flink-sql repository and follow the Strimzi model of having and examples/metrics folder with prometheus/graphana deployment examples and sample graphana dashboards.
