Log directories section[1] uses a Zookeeper path to define the folder to store the kafka logs.

log.dirs=/var/lib/zookeeper

This property is defined in Kafka Community documentation[2] as:

log.dirs=/tmp/kafka-logs

It could be useful to define other similar to:

log.dirs=/var/lib/kafka
