Request new Build and Delivery Repos through Comet. This will generate tickets for RCM to set up product repositories and branches where we will store the official source for our productized container images. NOTE This only has to happen once per minor release for every container image. Usually we just need to request a Build repo for the new Kafka image and open a ticket like this one [1] for the existing Build (dist-git) repos from past releases. After and only after those Build repos, branches, tags have been created we can request the Delivery repos for each image

When filling out the Build and Delivery repo forms make sure that image names follow the Containing naming Policies and RCM naming conventions so of which are described in Comet. Use this metadata spreadsheet from the latest release as a guide.
