Currently, the bridge is leveraging the vertx-opentelemetry component because of the usage of the Vert.x “context storage provider” which is needed for tracing context propagation through Vert.x in the Kafka client when using interceptors.

When getting rid of the Vert.x Kafka client, the vertx-opentelemetry component should not be needed anymore and we could get rid of it.
