Addresses added to certificate SANs have to be added either as IP addresses or as DNS addresses. So Strimzi does a validation to decide if the address is IP or DNS and adds them. However, we currently support only IPv4 addresses. And if user tries to add IPv6 address, it will be rejected as invalid. We should add support for IPv6.
