• "io.strimzi.kafka.connect.mirror.IdentityReplicationPolicy" provided by Strimzi project are used in our AMQ Streams 2.0 documentation(1). However, these should be replaced by IdentityReplicationPolicy provided by Apache Kafka 3.0.
  • From Kafka 3.0.0, Apache Kafka now has its own Identity Replication Policy(2), and Strimzi policy will be archived in the future.
• And if there is any incompatibility between Strimzi's IdentityReplicationPolicy and Apache Kafka 3.0's IdentityReplicationPolicy, it may be necessary to describe the migration method in deprecated features in our release notes.

 Note: From Kafka 3.0.0, Apache Kafka now has its own Identity Replication Policy: org.apache.kafka.connect.mirror.IdentityReplicationPolicy. When using Kafka 3.0.0 and newer, you should use the Apache Kafka policy instead of the Strimzi policy which will be archived in the future.
