is too strict / limiting.

For the JMS client it lists "Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2" as the only supported Windows version while it broadly lists all of RHEL 6 and 7 releases as being supported.

In the past we have really based the supportability of major operating systems on the Java version used. E.g. see https://access.redhat.com/articles/310613 which states that A-MQ 6.3 is supported on JDK 7 and 8 and then additionally lists the configurations that we certify on.
