      1. Proposed title of this feature request
      Higher Level C++ API

      2. Who is the customer behind the request?
      Account name: IG Index
      TAM/SRM customer: No
      Strategic Customer: No

      3. What is the nature and description of the request?

Complete, support and maintain a higher level C++ api, such as https://github.com/astitcher/qpid-cms

      4. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

A constant feedback from IG's C++ community has been the fact the client's provided are too low level and they are having to code up everything.

It was discussed last year that red hat was going to look at a higher level api, but nothing seems to have come.

Since our c++ team have highlighted that one of the redhat engineers has a private impl of such api.

      https://github.com/astitcher/qpid-cms

We would like to ask if this could be completed and supported? It seems to be fitting the bill our devs have been wanting.

If not some direction and commitment to when such higher level api would exist.

      5. How would the customer like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)
Ideally by implementation of this RFE - or provide some direction and commitment to when such higher level api would exist.

      6. For each functional requirement listed in question 5, specify how Red Hat and the customer can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented.

      by IG Index
      (1) Use the api and test it.

      by Red Hat
      (1) Unit tests
      (2) Quickstarts that demonstrate it's usage?
      (3) QE tests that verify usage

      7. Is there already an existing RFE upstream or in Red Hat bugzilla?

      No

      8. Does the customer have any specific timeline dependencies?
None communicated so I assume they would like this ASAP - or at least a steer of what we can do ASAP

      9. Is the sales team involved in this request and do they have any additional input?

      No

      10. List any affected packages or components.
      AMQ

      11. Would the customer be able to assist in testing this functionality if
      implemented?

      Definitely and provide feedback.
