-bp is more generic, there would be nothing special about -address, but it may be nice to have some visual separation. Also, not all properties are relevant to config reload.
so it may make sense to support -address as a prefix.

in any event, we need to have a way to externalise brokerProperties

to avoid size limits of etcd
to allow some clean separation of concerns
to potentially allow some namespace capabilities, a referenced config map may not be in all namespaces and that may be desirable.
