Federated Broker Hangs Indefinitely When Shutting Down

      1. Set up a federation between two primary / backup shared-store broker pairs (configuration attached)
      2. Start several consumers on each side of the federation
      3. Stop the brokers in turn, first primary on one side, then primary on the other, then live backup on one side, then live backup on the other. The last broker stopped hangs fairly consistently and must be killed to exit the process.

    Description

      When two live/backup broker pairs are federated with an upstream federation configuration, a broker may hang when stopped, necessitating an untrappable kill to exit the process. This could prevent proper dismount of the journals leading to data corruption.
