In the AMQ Broker with persistentEnabled:true the artemis.log & audit.log are hosted in the mount path of the persistent volume (e.g; /opt/ex-aao/data/). The log files in that folder can end up filling the PV and the broker pod becomes unresponsive.
The default logging.properties has console and file: logger.handlers=FILE,CONSOLE
FILE log handler correspond to the artemis.log
