At the moment we use ./artemis create flags to create the broker install and then use some bash and sed script-fu to update the broker configuration to get what we need. Since this method began being used init containers came along as a new, potentially better, way to do this.
To better support our internal consumers of artemis, some of whom have moved to this model already, we need to make a move as well.
