Stabilization of ActiveMQ Artemis upstream test suite

    Description

      There are instabilities in ActiveMQ Artemis upstream test suite. CI job [1] runs the upstream test suite on RHEL 6/7 and JDK matrix every two days. In some runs there are more than 100 failed tests.

      Many of the failures are caused by test issues or by race condition and it is hard to reproduce them. Investigation and fixing take a lot of time.

      Because of these failures it is very hard to determine if a new commit or a release brings some regression or not.

      EAP QE has already done a lot of test fixes [2] but engineering cooperation is needed to fully stabilize and maintain the test suite.
