If a Blueprint XML file is deployed using the hot deploy mechanism in Karaf (by copying into the deploy/ subdirectory), when the file is subsequently deleted from the deploy/ directory, it does not get undeployed from the container.

Specifically, if you enable LDAP in Karaf by deploying the requisite ldap-module.xml file to deploy/, subsequently removing that file does not disable LDAP. There is a KCS article that deals with this issue [1] and the FUSEDOC-1450 issue was raised to get this documented.

It seems to me, however, that this is fundamentally a product bug: XML files that are deleted from the hot deploy directory ought to be undeployed automatically. That's how hot deploy is meant to work.
