advanced conditional step not respecting simple language rules

although supposedly the conditional (and other steps) should respect and allow for simple language a simple expression like:

100 > ${body.wine}

(used to make sure the comparison is done at the Integer level) gets rejected when running the integration with the following error

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: org.apache.camel.language.simple.types.SimpleIllegalSyntaxException: Unexpected token 100 at location 0
100 > ${body.wine}
