Kubernetes is supporting Structural schemas for Custom Resources. The more complete they are, the better tooling support can be provided.

it is used in various places:

• kubectl validation on deployment
• Yaml editor in VS Code upstream issue
• Form editor in Managed Kafka console/OpenShift dev console (to be verified)

it will surely be leveraged in:

• Yaml editor in OpenShift Dev console - upstream issue
• Yaml Editor in Eclipse Desktop

Currently 2 areas have been identified as missing for Camel K CRDs:

• Yaml DSL Flow (I think the one that bring the highest value) - upstream issue
• Traits - upstream issues
