VDB with google spreadsheet datasource fails

When deploying a vdb with a google spreadsheet datasource, it fails on the first query with

org.teiid.translator.TranslatorException: TEIID60000 java.lang.IllegalStateException: SpreadsheetName or SpreadsheetId are required.

No combination of upper and lowercasing the datasource properties defined in the docs seems to work.
