Support new deployment mechanism described in ENTMQST-1665. The expectation is that a user would specify the list of connectors in the KafkaConnect resource (as links to connector archive downloads and/or Maven GAVs). Strimzi would build the image with these connectors and then you use the Connector Operator to manage the connector instances.
