The Citrus framework is using Spring version 5.0.8.RELEASE (see https://github.com/citrusframework/citrus/blob/citrus-2.8.0/pom.xml#L140)

In the YAKS project, we are using Camel 2.21.1 (see https://github.com/jboss-fuse/yaks/blob/master/java/pom.xml#L42) which is built on Spring framework 4.3.16.RELEASE (see https://github.com/jboss-fuse/camel/blob/camel-2.21.1/parent/pom.xml#L658 and https://github.com/jboss-fuse/camel/blob/camel-2.21.1/parent/pom.xml#L663)

We should align Spring versions.

I suggest to update camel version to Camel 3:

• Camel 3 is the default version for Fuse.next
• Camel 3 uses 5.2.1.RELEASE (https://github.com/jboss-fuse/camel/blob/camel-3.0-branch/parent/pom.xml#L600-L601)
