since Fuse 7.3, the io.syndesis.extension:extension-maven-plugin is reporting errors in Eclipse as unsupported generate-metadata goal.

it was working fine with previous version (even thus I don't understand why)

workaround has been provided in Fuse Tooling to avoid this errro but it means that users of vanilla Eclipse still hit the problem.
