The problem is that if gateway doesn't detect failed backend service (like child container registering CXF REST endpoint in Zookeeper) - due to networking issues or Zookeeper session timeout after kill -9 of the containers, clients of the gateway should not see HTTP 500 when there are other alternative endpoints/backends.
