"Assign to me" option does not work for community users, see RH1-2226 .

Community users can assign to themselves by clicking "Start Progress" instead. Then the "Assignee" field will be automatically updated to mention their username.

Note that clicking Start Progress must be done by them only for the "Assignee" field to be updated correctly.
