We are presently using version M24. There was previously an attempt to upgrade to AM26 (ELY-2071), but WFCORE-5432 caught an error using IBM JDK 8. This error is reported in the apache project here and is also observed in the Elytron test suite.
A fix has been merged to the apache project which uses bouncycastle as opposed to java jdk libraries for certificate creation. The fix will be released in AM27, so this issue tracks upgrading to AM27 once it is released.
