Steps to Reproduce:

Hide

1) Set up a ConfigBasedEJBClientContextSelector as outlined in https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/AS71/EJB+invocations+from+a+remote+client+using+JNDI
2) Obtain an InitialContext and do a JNDI lookup
3) Close the Context
4) Repeat; the thread count of the process will steadily increase
