Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform Installation Methods
Section 7.1 "Running JBoss EAP as a service on RHEL"
This section is missing details on the required steps to perform this on RHEL 9.
When porting from the EAP 7 docs the following section was left out:
For Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9: Note Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 does not have the initscripts package in the default build. This package includes the /etc/init.d/functions file used by the jboss-eap-rhel.sh service. The /etc/init.d/functions file is required to start JBoss EAP as a service; therefore, install the initscripts package using the following command: $ sudo dnf install initscripts
