We are currently using DROOLS as a Rule engine on behalf of a huge organization, subject to a strict Technology Roadmap, that still imposes the reuse of JDK 8.
In that regard, we have not been yet able to move to JDK 11, and therefore still relies on DROOLS 7.x.

We are encountering the issue depicted in https://issues.redhat.com/browse/DROOLS-7542, and we kindly request to consider its implementation as part of DROOLS 7.x as well, as we are not in the capacity of moving to DROOLS 8.X.

Could you please consider this eventuality?
