I'm trying to use a variable with '-' in its name in a FEEL expression as given below. 

string(b-date) 

Here 'b-date' is supposed to be a date variable. The engine is interpreting the hyphen as SUB operator instead.
Tried the same with by enclosing the variable in backticks as well but in vain
