I noticed in version 4.8 of Accessing the RADOS Object Gateway there is a very helpful command for how to access the gateway.

'$ aws s3 --no-verify-ssl --endpoint http://rook-ceph-rgw-ocs.ocp.host.example.com ls
'

I'm wondering why this example is not on this page. I struggled with how to connect to the RADOS gateway using the aws cli for a while and found my answer on a previous version
