The actual hint for ODF metrics could be reflected in the monitoring guide or the troubleshooting guide. This, at least, should give the explanation how to get the list of metrics available for ODF.
However, actually, no documentation is providing information about the actual meaning of those metrics ad their values. At least, the most important metrics should be explained what the values actually mean. (BTW, there is no scale explanation of the values even within the Observe=>Metrics available.)
