Requirements
The SSO login experience for Drupal is quite clunky and can be greatly simplified to offer a better end-user experience. In particular the following improvements can be made:
- The log in to Drupal is initiated by clicking on the Log In in the top right-hand corner of the page
- The log in process could somehow determine that the current user additionally has access rights to Drupal and log them in.
- If the user is already logged in to their SSO account, they are logged in to Drupal automatically
- The legacy Drupal login page can be removed
- Traffic attempting to reach /user/login can be blocked at the Akamai level
This epic needs further decomposition into smaller tasks.
