      Requirements

Currently the RHD blog is hosted via WordPress, and the rest of the website via Drupal. This separation causes a number of problems, which will be resolved by migrating the blog content into Drupal and decommissioning WordPress.

      Benefits

      • Consistent user experience for contributing content (blogs, videos, slide decks, etc…)
      • Better integration of content across developers.redhat.com
      • Consolidated Dev, Ops, Design and PM effort on to a single platform (by removing WordPress).

This Epic is about planning the detailed requirements for this migration. It is mostly a product management task.

      Definition of Done

A plan is completed, which contains:

      • What blog content should be migrated from the Wordpress Blog
      • Requirements for target content type that should be used for migrated content.
      • Functionality from Wordpress that needs replicating in Drupal
      • Process for external contributors (off VPN) to contribute
      • Process for internal contributors (on VPN) to contribute
