      Requirements

Currently the RHD website uses an in-house search implementation (Searchisko) backed by ElasticSearch. This is no longer a sustainable approach and it does not support integration and consolidation with other search servers in Red Hat (which use Fusion based on Apache Solr). The infrastructure is maintained by PnT DevOps, which does not provide an equivalent of IT’s Gold-level support. This project is to migrate to an IT hosted instance of Lucidworks Fusion.

      Baseline metrics to capture before/after:

      • Quantity of search (was there an increase?)
      • Quantity of click-throughs from the search results page (was there an increase?)

      Benefits

      • Share data and knowledge with Customer Portal and www.redhat.com
      • Better foundation for future business requirements
      • Improved up-time and faster failure resolution time
