In Debezium 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4 we have an issue where the calculation for the read position when LOB is disabled (the default) is too conservative, which can lead to an increase in latency when an in-progress transaction is started and there is high activity that follows.

This introduces a slight change in behavior for Debezium 3.2/3.3/3.4 users that was unintended.
