In DBZ-3226, we introduced some smoke tests to verify that the Debezium Server works with redis as a sink. And DBZ-3226 will introduce a new smoke test for the kinesis sink.

At the moment, these smoke tests only verify that the Debezium Server starts correctly when using these sinks. Therefore, to better cover the server functionality, we can use JMX as part of these tests and check the metrics to make sure that expected number of messages was captured.
