There should be a way to tell that Debezium SQL Server Connector is missing CDC tables in SQL Server. However a strict startup failure might not be desirable in cases when the connector is used only for snapshotting.

Hence having a "warning" type configuration error and something like enfore.configuration.error=true config property, which turns warnings into errors (thus cause startup failure) might be an option.
