      What is the captured database version and mode of deployment?

      SQL Server 2022 + Debezium source connector on Kafka Connect

      What behavior do you expect?

      Following completion of an ad-hoc blocking snapshot streaming resumes and streaming metrics, i.e.: TotalNumberOfEventsSeen continue to increment.

      Following completion of an ad-hoc blocking snapshot streaming resumes and snapshot metrics, i.e.: TotalNumberOfEventsSeen continue to increment, steaming metrics are stuck.

      Do you see the same behaviour using the latest released Debezium version?

      yes

      Do you have the connector logs, ideally from start till finish?

      no, not relevant.

      How to reproduce the issue using our tutorial deployment?

      Run a connector and look at TotalNumberOfEventsSeen metric after a blocking snapshot.
