We are testing the scenario of stopping one of the nodes of the Oracle RAC nodes. The Debezium Server throws an exception - "ORA-12514: Cannot connect to database" and keep retrying -  "Retry 1 of unlimited retries will be attempted"

What Debezium connector do you use and what version?

2.71.Final Oracle connector

What is the captured database version and mode of deployment?

Oracle RAC 19c

What behavior do you expect?

I would expect the Debezium not to through the exception and to keep streaming
