We use the Debezium Embedded Engine within a Spring Boot to synchronize changes from an Oracle database to a target database (also Oracle).

From time to time, the mining of changes from the RedoLog stops with an ORA-00600 error. The embedded engine and thus our entire application must then be restarted to get functional again.

What Debezium connector do you use and what version?

What is the captured database version and mode of deployment?

On-Premis

Mining session should not be stopped.

Mining session was stopped.

Do you see the same behaviour using the latest released Debezium version?

I can't say at the moment. We have just started migrating to the latest 2.7 version in a spike.

Do you have the connector logs, ideally from start till finish?

Yes, it is attached on this ticket. Unfortunately the log level is only INFO. I had to remove some confidential/internal log lines. Hopefully it still helps.

How to reproduce the issue using our tutorial deployment?

We can not re-produce it directly. It appears from time to time in our Dev-Stage system.

The use case is a continuous mining of the changes from the source database to a target database.
